Confirmation
Pastor Thomas Busteed
In baptism we become members of the body of Christ, his universal Church. Many are brought into the Church as infants and so promises are made on a child’s behalf by parents and sponsors (“God-parents”). Confirmation provides an opportunity for youth to claim that faith as their own through a two year period of instruction on general Christian scriptures, teachings, and traditions and a ritual act of Affirmation of Baptism. Together we pledge: to live among God’s faithful people, to hear the word of God and share in the Lord’s supper, to proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed, to serve all people, following the example of Jesus, and to strive for justice and peace in all the earth. (ELW p. 236)

Craft Crew
Susan Marin
We gather to create projects for others in need. We make lap robes, shawls, scarves, and hats, for various groups in and out of our area. Generally, our items go to various groups within the Lehigh Valley Health network as needed. We recently did a giving tree for those within the Southwest Indian Foundation. In 2024 we collected and distributed material for Lutheran World Relief to distribute across the globe.
When we are not creating for others, we sometimes make things for friends, family, and even ourselves.
This talented group has members who knit, crochet, cross stitch, hook rugs/pillow tops, quilt and do general crafting. Some members are efficient in more than one technique. Instructions are available for those who would like to learn something new or hone rusty skills.

Jubilation Ringers
Susan Marin
The Jubilation Ringers prepare music for worship services with the goal of playing at least once a month. During festivals and holidays, the opportunity to play more often is encouraged. Our rehearsals run from September/October through May/June.
While the ability to read music is helpful, it is not a requirement. The Director will teach you how to ring at your position.

Hospitality
Wayne Bruch and Nancy Bruch
The Hospitality group provides refreshments and service for social activities, church celebrations, funerals, and baptisms. They also help set up and clean for potluck events, including dishwashing, organizing, and general coordination.

Worship and Music Committee
Ellen Litzenberger
The worship & music committee coordinates and oversees the worship service by selecting hymns, coordinating musicians, planning special services (Advent, Easter), managing liturgical supplies, and decorating for Easter and Advent seasons to create a spiritually enriching experience that glorifies God and builds community.

Sunday School
Teresa Marks
Sunday School is available for children who attend 1st to 7th Grades.Come to learn more about God and Jesus through reading Bible stories, playing games and doing crafts. Hope to see you there!

Finance Committee
Isabel Miller
The Finance Committee meets monthly to primarily review the Church’s financial information/records. Additionally, the members help the treasurer plan the annual budget. If you like numbers and pride yourself in balancing your checkbook, or have a background, skills, or interest in accounting and financial topics, this committee needs you!

Cemetery Board
Barry Williams and Dyane Miller
The Cemetery Board oversees the management and operation of the cemetery and its property, assuring it is maintained, and provides guidance on burial practices. In addition, the board is responsible for maintaining cemetery lot records and sales, and any financial and maintenance matters related to perpetual care.
